Faculty Profile:

Abdelhadi is the Chairman of Paediatrics at the National Guard Hospital, Madinah, KSA. He was trained the UK and practiced as consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist for 5 years before moving to Madinah in 2007. Dr Habeb set and chaired a number of committees and led quality improvement projects in the UK and KSA. He lectured in various countries and served as faculty and member of scientific committees for all previous ASPED conferences. Currently, he is the coordinator of the ASPED-ESPE school and a member of the steering committee for the ASPED – ISPAD Diabetes Academy. Dr Habeb is a fellow and examiner for the UK Royal College of Pediatrics and Child health, a member of the ESPE education & training committee and various scientific societies.  He is an editor for the LJM and reviewer for various journals. His research focuses on monogenic diabetes and published in different aspects of Paediatric Endocrinology.

Prof. Zulf Mughal

Faculty Profile:

Professor Zulf Mughal graduated in medicine from the University of Liverpool,
UK, in 1978. He received postgraduate training in Paediatrics at hospitals in
Manchester, Liverpool, in the UK and in Cincinnati, USA. He was appointed a
Consultant Pediatrician in1988. He is currently employed as a Consultant in
Paediatric Bone Diseases at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. In
2013, he was appointed Honorary Clinical Professor in Child Health at the
University of Manchester. He has extensive experience in management of
childhood bone & mineral disorders. Professor Mughal has published >150
peer reviewed scientific papers, invited reviews and book chapters. In June
2015, he was awarded the prestigious Charles Slemenda Award for his
outstanding contribution to Paediatric Bone Research.

Dr. Fahad Al Juraibah

Faculty Profile:

Fahad Al Juraibah is a pediatric endocrine consultant and the deputy program director of pediatric residency training program at King Abdullah specialized Children Hospital- Riyadh. Saudi Arabia. Additionally. he is also an assistant professor of pediatrics at King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Science- Riyadh. Saudi Arabia. Dr. Al Juraibah finished his pediatric endocrine training in Saudi Arabia. and later obtained a clinical fellowship in pediatric endocrinology focusing on complex bone disorders and disorders of sexual differentiation from the royal hospital for Children. Glasgow. United Kingdom. He has great interest in pediatric complex bone disorders and has various publications in this field.
